DivePRO TuneUp

First and foremost, we offer a special DivePRO TuneUP program that you can choose to join before the course. This 2-day program includes two morning lectures led by our Course Director to refresh dive theory (Physics, Physiology, Decompression Theory and Dive Equipment) in preparation for the written examinations. In the afternoon, we organize two in-water training sessions focused on reviewing the basic skills demontrations (Skils Circuit) and addressing any buoyancy issues or other fundamental diving skills, such as performing a 9m CESA.
We highly recommend that you take advantage of this program, especially if you haven't been diving in a while, if you completed your DMT certification a long time ago, or if you hold a leadership certification from another diving organization. It's truly worth it! |
Emergency First Response Instructor

Concurrently, we offer the Emergency First Responder Instructor course (EFRI), which covers Primary Care, Secondary Care, and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). Our emphasis is on elevating your skills to a demonstration level through ample hands-on practice. It's important to note that successful completion of this course is a mandatory requirement for achieving PADI Instructor status.
As part of your training, you will also receive a free Emergency O₂ Provider Specialty Instructor course (O2Prov I). This certification is essential for manipulating oxygen kits in some countries, as well as for working as a dive professional in many places. We want to ensure that you are well-equipped to excel in your diving career. |

OUR idc program
We start all of our packages with a free introductory program called IDC Prep. This program offers a brief yet effective preparation for the IDC, strengthening your dive theory knowledge, your PADI System understanding and the fundamental water skills essential for your success in the course. The Instructor Development Course (IDC) comprises two parts: the Assistant Instructor Course (AI) and the Open Water Scuba Instructor program (OWSI). These two courses work together to provide a comprehensive understanding of the PADI system. You must successfully complete both parts to be eligible to attend the PADI Instructor Examination (IE). Additionally, at the end of the IDC, we incorporate a Mock IE, a simulation of the Instructor Examination designed to evaluate your readiness for the real PADI exams.

All our IDC packages include the EFRI course, IDC prep, IDC, Mock IE, and O2Prov I. The total duration of the program is 19 days, which encompasses the 2-day PADI IE (optional PRO TuneUp program not included). Our daily schedule typically starts at 8:00am and concludes around 5pm, with a dedicated lunch break provided. Throughout the program, you will have 3 remedial days, which may serve as a day off depending on your performance. The program takes place in a relaxed resort setting, providing you with a comfortable and supportive learning environment.

Our core program offers 2 essential classroom presentations (Orientation & Course Close) and 11 official PADI IDC curriculum workshops. Additionally, we provide 3 exclusive workshops focused on preparing and delivering exceptional courses for Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, and Rescue Diver certifications. For practical training, you will participate in 10 in-water sessions, including 3 for IDC Prep (skill circuit and Rescue Exercise #7) and 7 for conducting Confined and Open Water skills presentations and in-water workshops. Our program goes above and beyond the formal PADI IDC requirements, ensuring you receive a superior training experience. Also note that you will have five extra tanks available for remedial purposes or fun diving during or after the course, giving you the opportunity to hone your skills or enjoy some leisurely diving.

If you opt for our Silver or Gold Package, you will have the opportunity to complete the AWARE Shark Conservation and Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Instructor courses alongside the IDC. Additionally, you will participate in an Adaptive Techniques Workshop, equipping you with valuable tools to effectively teach individuals with disabilities. These extra courses and workshop enhance your skill set and broaden your teaching capabilities.
If you are interested in pursuing further training after the IE, we offer additional training days to enroll in Specialty Instructor (SI) programs or Master Scuba Diver Trainer preparation (MSDT prep), which requires obtaining five Instructor Specialties (SI programs). Please note that the number of dives required for any SI program is half that of the corresponding Specialty. We are committed to helping our instructors continue to develop their skills and achieve their professional goals.

The PADI Instructor Examination (IE) is a two-day evaluative program designed to assess your teaching ability, dive knowledge, skill level, and understanding of the PADI system. The IE is conducted by PADI examiners and can be administered in any language, provided that sufficient notice is given, and the necessary materials are available in that language. If you require a translator for the practical segments of the exam (briefings, debriefings and knowledge development presentation), we can assist you in finding one.
Concluded the IE and following the PADI certification ceremony, we come together as a team for a joyful celebratory dinner and the traditional and always highly anticipated IE party. It's time to let loose, have fun, and enjoy the vibrant nightlife of the island. We look forward to it each time! |

LEARN-TO-TEACH INTERNSHIP
|
And last but not least, we are proud to offer the opportunity for our newly certified instructors to team-teach alongside our highly experienced instructors and gain valuable experience teaching their first certification courses after the IE. The Learn-to-Teach Internship (L2T) has a minimum duration of one week and can be extended up to six weeks. This program can be a great asset toward achieving your Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) certification. For those who have selected our Silver or Gold package, we offer an optional L2T program free of charge. This hands-on approach ensures a smooth transition into your teaching career and helps you build confidence and expertise in delivering effective scuba instruction.

What you need to Start your Instructor Course
PADI IDC Prerequisites
To enroll in the IDC you will need to:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be certified as a diver for at least six months.
- Have proof of CPR and First Aid training within the last 24 months.
- Have 60 logged dives that include experience in Night, Deep and Navigation.
- Be certified as a PADI Divemaster or a PADI Assistant Instructor or be an instructor in good standing with another training organization for at least six months, and certification proof for OW, AOW, Rescue & EFR or equivalent.
- Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months stating that you have no conditions that can be considered incompatible with recreational scuba diving. (Dowload it bellow)
- Have at least 100 logged dives to take the Instructor Examination (IE).
- For Enriched Air Nitrox Instructor, you need to be an EANx certified Diver.
- For Sidemount Instructor you must have 10 logged dives with Sidemount configuration to apply for the certification.
